Kagami's name(Taiga) means "tiger", Himuro's name(Tatsuya) means "dragon" in Japan. In Chinese mythology, the Azure Dragon of the East and the White Tiger of the West are eternal rivals.
This rivalry is further expressed in their surnames: "Hi" means "ice" while "Ka" translates as "fire".
